• Compatibility: Not suitable for community tanks. Best kept in a species-specific tank or with very large, robust, and non-aggressive fish that cannot be consumed. Extreme caution is required due to venom.
• Special requirements: Requires a well-established, mature aquarium with ample live rock for camouflage and ambush points. Excellent filtration is essential. Feeding live feeder fish (e.g., mollies, guppies) or ghost shrimp is often necessary, though some may be trained to accept frozen silversides or krill. Due to its venomous nature, extreme caution must be exercised during all tank maintenance. Gloves and protective eyewear are highly recommended.
