• Compatibility: Best kept in a species-specific tank or with very large, robust tank mates that can withstand its predatory nature. Not suitable for reef tanks as it will consume invertebrates.
• Special requirements: Requires a large tank with ample swimming space and plenty of live rock for hiding and foraging. A deep sand bed is beneficial as they may burrow. Excellent filtration is essential due to their carnivorous diet and waste production. Can be aggressive towards smaller fish and invertebrates.
