• Compatibility: Not suitable for community tanks. Best kept in a species-specific tank or with very large, robust, and fast-moving fish that cannot be preyed upon. Will consume smaller tank mates.
• Special requirements: Requires a sandy or soft substrate for burrowing, ample rockwork or caves for hiding, and excellent filtration due to its carnivorous diet. Live or frozen meaty foods are essential. Caution must be exercised due to its venomous spines.
