Differenze chiave: The Florida Pompano has a more oval body shape, shorter and less sickle-shaped dorsal and anal fins, and typically has 3-5 narrow, yellowish vertical bars on its sides (especially when young). Its mouth is also slightly more terminal. Permits grow significantly larger than Florida Pompano.
