• Compatibilità: Generally peaceful with similarly sized, non-aggressive fish. Best kept in groups of 5 or more to reduce stress and encourage natural behavior. Avoid keeping with very small or slow-moving fish that might be intimidated or outcompeted for food. Can be territorial towards other bottom-dwellers if not given enough space or if kept in insufficient numbers.
• Requisiti speciali: Requires a well-established aquarium with excellent filtration and regular water changes. Provide plenty of hiding places such as caves, driftwood, and dense planting. A soft substrate (sand or fine gravel) is preferred as they like to dig. Dim lighting is appreciated. They are sensitive to poor water quality and medications, especially those containing copper. Due to their potential large size and schooling nature, a spacious tank is crucial.
