Northeastern Pacific Ocean, from the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands south along the coast of Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and California, extending as far south as northern Baja California, Mexico. Most abundant from the Gulf of Alaska to British Columbia.
