• Minimum tank size: 20 gallons (75 liters) for a small group
• Compatibility: Excellent with other peaceful, similarly sized community fish. Best kept in groups of 6 or more.
• Special requirements: Requires a well-oxygenated tank with good water flow, fine sand or smooth gravel substrate, plenty of hiding places (caves, driftwood, plants), and subdued lighting. Sensitive to poor water quality and sudden changes in parameters. A tight-fitting lid is essential as they are known jumpers.
