• Compatibility: Generally compatible with other peaceful, similarly sized community fish. Compatibility depends heavily on the base species. For example, GloFish Danios are schooling fish and should be kept in groups, while GloFish Bettas are solitary and territorial.
• Special requirements: GloFish thrive in well-maintained aquariums with stable water parameters. While their coloration is visible under normal lighting, their fluorescence is best appreciated under blue or actinic lighting. They do not require any special care beyond what is typical for their unmodified counterparts. Avoid keeping them with aggressive fin-nippers if the base species has flowing fins (e.g., GloFish Bettas).
