• Compatibility: Generally compatible with other non-aggressive fish, but can be territorial towards other tangs or fish of similar shape/color. Best kept singly or in very large tanks with multiple tangs introduced simultaneously.
• Special requirements: Requires a well-established tank with plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding. A strong protein skimmer and good filtration are essential due to their high waste production. Prone to marine ich (Cryptocaryon irritans) if stressed or in poor water quality. Requires a diet rich in marine algae and spirulina to maintain health and color.
