• Compatibility: Best kept in a species-specific paludarium or with other mudskipper species of similar size and temperament, provided ample space and hiding spots. Avoid mixing with purely aquatic fish or overly aggressive species.
• Special requirements: A paludarium setup is essential, featuring both brackish water and a significant land area (mudflats, sand, rocks, mangrove roots) for basking and terrestrial activity. High humidity is crucial. The water should be brackish, with a specific gravity of 1.005-1.015. Excellent filtration is needed, and a tight-fitting lid is a must as they are escape artists. Provide plenty of hiding spots and visual barriers to reduce territorial aggression.
