• Compatibility: Can be kept with other robust, similarly sized cichlids or large, peaceful fish. Avoid keeping with small, timid species or highly aggressive fish.
• Special requirements: Tilapia are prolific breeders and can quickly overpopulate an aquarium. They require excellent filtration due to their waste production and appreciate a varied diet. Substrate should be sand or fine gravel as they are diggers. Provide plenty of hiding spots and open swimming areas.
