• Diet: carnivore
• Minimum tank size: 200 gallons (750 liters)
• Compatibility: Not suitable for community tanks. Best kept alone or with very large, robust, and equally aggressive species that cannot be swallowed.
• Special requirements: Requires a spacious tank with strong filtration due to its predatory nature and waste production. Provide plenty of hiding spots with driftwood and rocks, but also open swimming areas. Live or frozen meaty foods are essential. Can be sensitive to poor water quality.
