• Compatibility: Excellent with other small, peaceful community fish such as other Nannostomus species, small tetras, rasboras, dwarf cichlids, and corydoras. Avoid housing with large or aggressive fish that may intimidate or prey upon them.
• Special requirements: Requires a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding spots and subdued lighting. A dark substrate and floating plants can help replicate their natural habitat and enhance their coloration. They are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of at least 6-10 individuals to thrive and exhibit natural behaviors.
