• Compatibility: Generally peaceful with other large, non-aggressive fish. Can be kept in groups of its own kind if the tank is sufficiently large.
• Special requirements: Requires a very large tank with ample swimming space. Substrate should be soft sand or fine gravel. Provide driftwood and smooth rocks for enrichment, but ensure open areas for swimming. Good filtration is essential due to its size and waste production. Not suitable for typical home aquariums due to its large adult size.
