• Compatibility: Not suitable for community tanks. Can be kept in species-specific tanks or with other large, robust, and equally aggressive fish of similar size, provided the tank is exceptionally large and offers ample hiding spots. Extreme caution is advised.
• Special requirements: Requires a very large aquarium with strong filtration and excellent water quality. A secure lid is essential as they are powerful jumpers. Provide plenty of open swimming space, along with some robust decorations or driftwood for cover. Live or frozen meaty foods are essential. Due to their predatory nature and size, they are generally not recommended for home aquariums and are more suited for public aquariums or experienced private collectors with specialized facilities.
