• Compatibility: Excellent community fish, compatible with other peaceful, similarly sized tetras, rasboras, dwarf cichlids, corydoras, and small Loricariids. Avoid housing with large or aggressive fish that may prey on them.
• Special requirements: Requires a well-established aquarium with stable water parameters. Prefers dimly lit tanks with dense planting, driftwood, and a dark substrate to enhance coloration and provide security. Strong water flow should be avoided. They are sensitive to sudden changes in water chemistry and require excellent water quality with regular partial water changes. Best kept in schools of 6 or more to exhibit natural schooling behavior and reduce stress.
