• Compatibility: Generally compatible with other semi-aggressive to peaceful fish of similar size. Caution should be exercised with very small or shy species, and with other wrasses unless the tank is very large. May nip at sessile invertebrates.
• Special requirements: Requires a sand bed of at least 3-4 inches for burrowing. Plenty of live rock for hiding and foraging. A tight-fitting lid is essential as they are known jumpers. Provide a varied diet of meaty foods.
