• Compatibility: Generally compatible with most peaceful to semi-aggressive marine fish. Avoid keeping with very aggressive or fin-nipping species. Can be kept in groups if introduced simultaneously to a sufficiently large tank, but individual males may become territorial towards each other.
• Special requirements: Requires a sand bed of at least 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm) for burrowing at night and when stressed. A tight-fitting lid is essential as they are known jumpers. Provide plenty of live rock for hiding places and foraging opportunities. They are excellent at controlling small invertebrate pests like flatworms and pyramid snails.
