Only one Albino Rainbow Shark per tank is generally recommended unless the tank is very large (100+ gallons) with ample hiding spots.

A sandy or fine gravel substrate is preferred as they are bottom dwellers. Strong filtration and good water circulation are beneficial. They are known jumpers, so a secure lid is essential.
