• Diet: carnivore
• Minimum tank size: 2000 gallons (7570 liters) for a single adult
• Compatibility: Only compatible with very large, robust fish that cannot be preyed upon and are not aggressive towards the ray. Not suitable for typical home aquariums.
• Special requirements: Requires an extremely large, specialized tank with a soft sand substrate for burying. Excellent filtration and water quality are paramount. Due to its size and venomous nature, it is rarely kept in private aquariums and is primarily found in public aquaria.
