Keeping Sculpin in an aquarium requires the right conditions.

• Diet: carnivore
• Minimum tank size: 30 gallons for smaller species, larger for bigger individuals or multiple fish
• Compatibility: Best kept in species-specific tanks or with robust, similarly sized, non-aggressive fish that occupy different water columns. Avoid small fish or invertebrates as sculpins are predatory.
• Special requirements: Require excellent water quality, high oxygenation, and plenty of hiding places such as rocks, caves, and driftwood. A sand or fine gravel substrate is preferred. They are sensitive to elevated temperatures and poor water conditions.
