• Compatibility: Can be kept with other robust, non-aggressive fish. Avoid keeping with very small or timid species, or other wrasses of similar size unless the tank is very large and offers ample hiding spots. Only one male per tank unless it's exceptionally large.
• Special requirements: Requires a deep sand bed (at least 10-15 cm or 4-6 inches) for burrowing at night or when startled. Needs plenty of live rock for hiding and foraging. Good water quality and stable parameters are essential. Can be prone to jumping, so a secure lid is necessary.
