• Compatibility: Excellent with other peaceful community fish of similar size, such as other tetras, rasboras, corydoras, and small gouramis. Avoid housing with large or aggressive fish that may prey on them.
• Special requirements: Tetras are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of at least 6-10 individuals of their own species to thrive and exhibit natural behaviors. A well-planted aquarium with open swimming spaces and subdued lighting is ideal. Good water quality is paramount.
